Michelle is a Canadian composer, classically trained singer, composer and sound designer based in Los Angeles. With over 25 years of experience as a vocal coach, Michelle has built a diverse career as a songwriter, artist, coach, and creative collaborator.
As a co-creator of the band 6 Minute Escape alongside Mike Soloman, They have developed a distinctive musical style that blends genres and emotions. In 2025, she is focusing on an exciting new project: LESEDI, a Ballet/Opera experience. After years of internal development, this immersive work—driven by the music and artistic vision of 6 Minute Escape—is now entering production. Stay tuned for more updates.
In addition to LESEDI, 6 Minute Escape is set to release a new EP, Living Between the Frame Rates, in Fall 2024. Michelle also contributed vocals to the recently released track "Let's Try Again" by Attom Darcy Bvld.
A seasoned film composer, Michelle has composed scores and sound designs for a variety of projects, including horror films, meditation pieces, documentaries, and short films. Her choral work, Hymns of Dawn, was recorded at Hollywood Scoring and selected for a Composer Master Series. She is also a regular contributor to Shutterstock and PremiumBeat, where her compositions are featured across various media outlets.
With a rich blend of classical training, innovative sound design, and cinematic soundscapes, Michelle continues to push creative boundaries, crafting meaningful and captivating musical experiences.
